On that day, it already seemed she was dealing with me as a whole person instead of the symptoms that have brought me there.

The first adjustment was a success! The pain in my shoulder, neck, and head immediately subsided. Since my body had recently been through so much with the pregnancy and c-section, I understood that the pain may come back. Since it was a matter of the vertebral sublaxations (spinal imbalance putting pressure on the nervous system) still being present, keeping the spine maintained over time was the best thing to do.

After a couple of treatments, I realized that my young family can also receive benefits from chiropractic care. Then I brought along my new baby, Sophia to see Dr. McCowin. My main purpose was on what she had gone through during the c-section. Also, she had this frequent spitting up, which I remember not seeing on my son when he was a baby.

Following her treatments, baby Sophia began to keep milk down without the excessive spitting up, which was a huge relief. It’s been a year that Joseph underwent Dr. McCowin’s care and the results have been phenomenal. He does not find any trouble going to sleep at night and does not deal with constipation anymore.

I only regret not finding Great Life Chiropractic earlier. I have read studies on how easy it would be for women to recover from pregnancy and birth after establishing chiropractic care instead of waiting to begin after delivery.
